About the author

Hillary Rodrigues is Professor of Religious Studies at the University of Lethbridge. He holds a Ph.D. from McMaster University, having majored in the philosophy and culture of Hinduism and Buddhism, and minored in the social scientific study of religion. He has taught world religions courses for three decades and has published books on early and modern Hinduism, co-authored a world religions text, and has written on the study of religion as an academic discipline.
