About this eBook

Much-Afraid had been in the service of the Chief Shepherd, whose great flocks were pastured down in the Valley of Humiliation. She lived with her friends and fellow workers Mercy and Peace in a tranquil little white cottage in the village of Much-Trembling. She loved her work and desired intensely to please the Chief Shepherd, but happy as she was in most ways, she was conscious of several things which hindered her in her work and caused her much secret distress and shame. Here is the allegorical tale of Much-Afraid, an every-woman searching for guidance from God to lead her to a higher place.

I'm nowhere near finished reading the book but I can see right away that it is powerful. My only beef is there are some serious typos. I mean to the point that on page 34 one sentence is repeated twice consecutively. There are other typos even before that. Very poorly edited. Or maybe I'm just reading an unedited version.

Absolutely the most beautiful masterpiece I've ever read. Every sentence left me floating in awe! I will read it over and over again and share it with anyone who is ready to see the spiritual picture as a lover of the King, the Shepard my Jesus Christ. Thank you Lord for this beautiful depiction of what it's like to be transformed from a Much-Afraid to a Grace and Glory. Praise be to God!

This book is life changing. It is so full of scripture that it applies to every situation that you're going through in life. I have read it several times over the last 20 years and have taken new inspiration from it each time. It paints a wonderful picture of how God loves us and that He is always there to save us from ourselves and teach us His ways.
