I so enjoyed this Christmas story that takes place in Wildflower Ranch. When ranch owner, Peta returns home after a European vacation and she finds her new ranch foreman, Garrett living in her house, first impressions are all wrong. Peta is a very strong woman, nothing stands in her way. She is not afraid of hard work. Garrett sees her as a girly girl but soon, Peta will be changing his mind or is Peta enjoying the girly girl. As they soon learn to work together, a budding relationship begins. I highly recommend this story during the upcoming Christmas season.

I enjoyed reading this Christmas story and knowing more about Peta. She is a strong, hard-working woman and makes no excuses. While she is gone the new foreman overseeing her ranch, makes himself at home, in her house! You could almost cut the tension between her and Garrett when she returns. Their strong personalities make for a great story. I received an advanced copy from the author and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

"His Christmas Cowgirl" by Alissa Callen is book number six in the Wildflower Ranch" series.  This is Peta Dixon and Garrett Ross' story. Garrett as a favor to Hal has agreed to fill in as foreman on Peta's ranch until Hal recovers from his injury.   When Garrett and Peta meet their first impressions are not so good of each other.  As they work side by side things begin to change.   This is a sweet story but the romance was slow in coming.  The first half of the book was pretty slow but the second half was much better. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Alissa Callen is a former teacher and counsellor. She was raised on a farm and still favors remote areas, small towns, historic homesteads, and country gardens. She is inspired by the countryside, and people's life journeys. She is the author of Town of Windmills series, Wildflower Ranch series, and Outback Dust series. She won the 2017 Australian Romance Readers Awards, for Strongest heroine with her book, The Long Paddock (Town of Windmills series).
