The death of Botswana’s last founding father, Sir Ketumile Quett Masire, in June 2017, marked the end of an era. Since the release of the Fourth Edition of Historical Dictionary of Botswana in 2008, Botswana has gone through its most turbulent and divided decade to date. About the author
Barry Morton is a Research Fellow at University of South Africa. He is currently employed by both the Sir Ketumile Masire Foundation to produce a memoir of the late President, as well as by the Zimbabwean ZCC to write a biography of the prophet Samuel Mutendi.
