Jonel B. (Pure Jonel)
What a story and a half! This novel is lighthearted and comical, but also an intriguing commentary on the lives and perceptions of those perpetually in the media spotlight. Phillips combines chemistry and emotion, sex and life in a manner that was absolutely captivating. She brings her world and characters to life in a realistic yet unforgettable manner. Paris was such an intriguing character. She’d been through so much, yet at the same time had so much. It was a paradox that many of us never think of, yet was so apparent in the way that Phillips developed it. Cooper was one of the best romance heroes I’ve read about in a very long while. He was romantic & caring sides were highlighted by his strong, alpha-esque nature. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them. OMG! I hate Paris’ conniving Mom! I feel as if she was inadvertently the driving force behind the entire tale. In more ways than one she shaped the lives and decisions of many of the major players in the tale. Phillips never fails to enchant and excite me with her writing. This novel was no exception. I read it from cover to cover in a single sitting. I thought this was an excellent read. A super sexy opposites attracts story that I read straight through. Nice writing style and great characters make this one you will want to read. Cooper Grayson remembers the Paris from childhood. The woman he is helping hide out from the paparazzi is far different from that memory though. She's incredibly sexy and all woman and if he's not careful, she could crash down the walls he's carefully constructed around his heart. Paris O'Connell is tired of the Hollywood life but with her pushy mother getting away from it is impossible. For one glorious week though, she is living with Cooper Grayson. Unbelievably handsome and made for sin, he will be her toughest challenge yet! This is one I highly recommend.

It's been done before. Many times. Even so I never get tired of friends to lover romances. If done right they can be the most sweet, romantic and revealing reads. Paris' career has given her everything she wants. In spite of all she has there is still an emptiness in her life. Cooper is surprised to see his best friend's sister all grown up. But knows her high profile career and his friendship with her brother makes her off limits. These two people had steam coming out of their ears when together. I have to be honest I think there was some subtle matchmaking afoot. Hold Me Until Morning by Christina Phillips is a seductive story that was told in the right way, by the right person. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
