Let me start off by saying when I started this book I could not put it down. I don't know what it is about this book but I honestly enjoyed reading it. Brooke and Cooper are kind of like puzzle pieces. they have so many sides that you're not sure they actually fit together but somehow they did lock in tight and don't let go. The story has a nice balance between real life/ fantasy and the blur between in it's own way it's seamless. There are some questions I will need answered and hopefully as this series continues the author will take care of my curiosity. Ms Trent has done a beautiful job and creating a new series that I look forward to reading I can't wait for Rivers book next.

WISH OUT OF WATER is a slow build toward an increasingly fascinating love story. The characters are unique and interesting, and the storyline is captivating, filled with witty banter, a bit of intrigue, and touches of passion. What starts as a business transaction between Cooper and Brook quickly begins to become something much more. Their relationship grows to be much deeper and more complex than they could have ever expected. This is a story you want to read slowly so you can savor each scene. It's a wonderful introduction to a beguiling world in which the stories are sure to mesmerize and enthrall their readers.
