I saw the movie before I even knew there was a book it was based on. I love the movie, but it us waay different than the book - which I also love. Joe Hill can spin a great tale. I just wish he wouldn't kill off so many of the great characters in his stories! (No more said on that - don't want to spoil splendid reading for anyone.) Joe, I hope you're busy writing more! 😆👍👍

I read " The Tall Grass" before reading "Horns". Was disappointed by "Grass". This was a much better read. The strength & purity of young love combined with evil & murder. Check it out! You won't be sorry.

Excellent story but not satisfied with the ending... great journey though. like walking through an amazing forest to a great opening but you only see a field of grass instead of a beautiful Vista or waterfall
