5 OMG STARS!! OMG, I was on the edge of my seat holding on for dear life. This story has it all from dark, angst, suspense, love and sexy times. I absolutely loved Stone and Brooke's story, I could not get enough of these two. This book held my captive all the way through. I would love to be Stone's Hostage. These two authors did a phenomenal job with this story and I can't wait to read more. If you are looking for a dark exciting book look no further. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Having not read Prisoner, I didn't know what to expect of Hostage. I had no idea that it would pull me in so quickly and not let me go. I really loved Stone even though he was so broken, but I think it was Brook that really pulled me in. We know Stone is broken, we expect all manner of depraved things from him, but Brook was broken too. She was so far from the bell of the ball that she was expected to be and I think it put her in the perfect frame of mind to deal with everything that Stone threw at her. Now I need to go read Prisoner! #MSBB

4.5 stars Hostage is nothing and everything you would expect from these two talented and twisted authors. To say I'm biased might be true but only because I've devoured their books. I have yet to read one that didn't have me highly entertained or on the edge of my seat. Maybe I'm biased because I like the damaged bad boys. Maybe it's because I look for light in the darkness. Maybe it's because I'm a hopeless romantic... Whatever the reason, I loved Hostage. I love the fear, the desperation, and of course the vigilante justice. There are few things in this world that get my blood thirst active...but people that harm kids is my number one. Do I condone certain behaviors...no...but do I understand- Hell yes! Would I have reacted the same...this isn't the time to share my story. ;) Hostage is a dark trail that runs along side a blackened highway. It's not quite as dark as you might think but it isn't exactly fluffy unicorns. It's intense. It's raw and it's exactly what you needed to happen. Hostage is second in the series but you can read it first like I did with no problems following at all. You will scramble to read Prisoner though if you haven't already.
