Founding Editor of Knotting Matters and co-founder of the International Guild of Knot Tyers. Sea scout and sea cadet, Geoffrey Budworth turned on to knotting when he saw his first ornamental bell-rope. Used ropework during a decade afloat on the Thames tideway, policing the Pool of London (and beneath it as an operational frogman).
