Since John Carter’s and the other children’s last exciting and harrowing journey to Planet Mars, much has happened. Great fortune has been bestowed on their families and their lives have improved greatly. Over in Tenerife, Pedro Armaz is relaxing after the hectic journey and wondering how to make The Wishing Book safe from possible theft. Through a series of unpredictable events Pedro and the children once again find themselves on Planet Mars because of Zelmut’s incessant desire to obtain the book for his own selfish desires – to rule the Universe. However, Pedro has done some forward planning to protect the Wishing Book should something beyond his control happen. When Zelmut finally obtains the book, he finds it is useless and has no power whatsoever. He is furious and imprisons John, Pedro and the others. Meanwhile, Pedro’s son Julio and grandson Miguel obtain the Wishing Book and set off to Planet Mars to rescue the others. An intense adventure follows with Julio and Miguel being captured by Martian warriors. John, Pedro and the others, who have managed to escape the clutches of Zelmut, are racing against time to rescue Julio and Miguel and have to face all the force of Zelmut’s army and creatures. Will Julio and Miguel be rescued on time or will Zelmut be victorious? This is yet another great, ‘I can’t put this book down,’ adventure from Grahame Howard. An exciting rollercoaster adventure packed with astonishing twists and turns–hold on tight! Book reviews online: PublishedBestsellers website.

About the author

In between my career as a church pastor and eventually a social worker, I have been writing for many years. However, it was not until 2009 that I had any success. I have since had four books published, my autobiography which describes my ordeal and advice with suffering from UC and stoma surgery and The Wishing Book series - a children’s fantasy series. I am married with 3 grown up children and 5 lovely grandchildren. We live in the beautiful county of Dorset. Having just retired, I am able to spend more time with my family. I am available for any interviews regarding my works and would be able to conduct Power Point Presentations regarding my book ALL BAGGED UP discussing my life with Ulcerative Colitis and how I have survived that and now live life with a stoma.

Howard Grahame
Back in 1940 on the Island of Tenerife, a young child - Pedro Armaz, is supernaturally given words for a special book which made wishes come true. His family are very poor and so Pedro wishes for riches and great wealth which are granted. Many years later, Zelmut, Chief and Highness of Planet Mars, discovers the existence of the wishing book and wants it for himself so that he can become the ruler of the whole universe. He sends a Martian warrior to find the book and bring it back to Mars, but the warrior keeps the book and uses the book for his own selfish ends and never returns to Mars. Many years later, little John Carter aged 9, finds this book hidden under a floorboard in his bedroom. He tells his twin sister Penny and close friend Jimmy and together they have many small adventures and play pranks with the book. Eventually, they wish to go to Planet Mars and they tell their science teacher about this. They trust him and he agrees to go on the trip with them. This is where the action picks up. The children face betrayal and terror as they are faced with Martian warriors and flying creatures called Termans who are intent on getting the book off them. To add to their fear, Zelmut releases his prized weapon - the Blattidae. Eventually the children lose the Wishing Book and all hope of returning to Planet Earth is dashed. Zelmut seems intent on terminating them. Will he succeed? This is an edge of the seat book that will keep the reader gripped right until the end. With the many twists, it is impossible to know who they can trust. Book reviews online: PublishedBestsellers website.
