About the author

IQBAL H. KHAN, PhD (Bradford, UK), is Professor Emeritus in the Department of Civil Engineering, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. He has served with distinction as Professor and Head, Department of Civil Engineering, and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Jamia Millia Islamia. He was also a Visiting Professor at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Author of four books, Professor Iqbal Khan has published more than seventy research papers in international journals. He is the President of Indian Society of Environmental Management (ISEM).
