If I Didn't Know Better has adventure, mystery and at the center of it all is family. Mia's life has been headed in a downward spiral recently that leaves her doubting herself and the choices she has made. Needing to lick her wounds she takes on a task for her mother that places her in the path of a wounded soldier and his equally broken daughter. It seemed like divine intervention brought Jeremy, Ash and Mia together at just the right time. If I Didn't Know Better is a story of healing that brings the hope, family and emotion along for the ride.

I never stopped reading until the book was done. Jeremy, back from the war is in an injured condition he's a "war hero". strong and handsome. suddenly, he finds out he's a father. that's when life changes for him.

very good read, start to finish. I couldn't put it down, and yes I fell in love with the characters. Every bit of the story was filled with warmth and love, and the sense of family and community for which everyone yearns . I especially love the continuity of the series and simply cannot wait to read more!
