About this eBook

When a particularly cute prank goes sideways, Shannon finds herself handcuffed to Fletch in an abandoned camp kitchen. He has every reason to be furious with her, and it's her job to diffuse him, not to fall suddenly in love with him. Likewise, Fletch shouldn't be interested in her or finding out what Shannon paints on walls when no one is looking.

This was the first book I read by this author, and I honestly did not like the characters when I started it...but after a few chapters I realized that I had it all wrong and I ended up absolutely loving it!!! Thank you to this amazing author who I'm looking forward to reading everything I can that she's written! It was a wonderful and surprisingly satisfying journey.

This one is probably my favorite of this author’s books. It grabs your attention right from the beginning, with Shannon waking from a brick to the head to find herself handcuffed to the guy she tried to kidnap the night before. Fletch is a sweet, genuine guy who takes the time to see past her perfect exterior and discover who she really is. Their chemistry is good, the antagonist makes you want to strangle him, and the ending is great.

what a great story! I won't give a summation because one: I couldn't do the plot justice and two: it would be too complex. just let me say that although it was sometimes confusing this was an almost perfect romance WITHOUT THE TROPES! I didn't think such a thing was possible. She has managed to present a sympathetic, edgy and wacky love story with compassion, enormous understanding and no holds barred in depicting two insecure, uncertain, modern adults needing to stake their claim on the world and as Sinatra sang, did it their way. if this is representative, future literature is in good hands. Don't just read it for yourself, give a copy to every one of your reading friends.

About the author

Stephanie Van Orman is a Canadian independent novelist. She writes something she calls upside-down romance novels, meaning you'll find something different in her books. Refusing to confine herself to a single genre, she writes fantasy, low fantasy, fairy tales, science fiction, horror, romance, and comedy. If you've never read one of her books before, you're in for a treat.

As a child, Kaitlynn was forced to create covers for her mother's independent novels. She dreams of being paid to draw something else.
