About this ebook

‘The satanic sex ring takes place around a quarry, near your friend’s house. As well as your family there are four others, so far that we know of, involved.’
When her dad was arrested and imprisoned for violently abusing his 15 children, Esther thought her life could begin at last.
She couldn't have been more wrong. Another man was ready to take advantage of this vulnerable girl. Social services stepped in again, but this time they made things much, much worse . . .
If Only I Had Told is Esther’s personal and very brave memoir that tells the truth about Orkney’s 1991 satanic sex scandal. It is a shocking account of how two evil men and a flawed system let down not just a young girl but a whole community.

her survivormum site I couldn't reach, can't locate her anywhere, this book is not her abuse half of it at least I can speak to ,the oak school is Raddery school, I'm Allison n I reported Adrian, disgusted child abuse would be used to gain credirand financially Esther Wilsher was barely in girls wing before moving to strathallan her brother Houston P was before my arrival and years with me. I well over year later now 23, end of year and still I can't reach Esther w nor has anyone replied given this book is being challenged by the person who reported Adrian for his abuse, and I can stare factually that Esther was not even 1 of the girls at court so to write this book using others abuse as her own is disgraceful totally enraged by this book.

What a brave decision you made to write this book Ester. It's good to know that your horrendous childhood is largely behind you. Every trained social worker should read your book. As someone who worked at Oakhill, the questions you ask at the end of the book are questions that have bothered me for years. Many questions never answer, so many lessons never learned..... Thank you for this book.
