The women in this book are strong and know what they want and they're not ashamed of it. Somehow Maree is both the underdog and the empowered go getter while keeping her good girl personality. I also like that her kickass boss is a sub who's best friends with his Dom. Usually that would be the whole story but now there's a voyeur who forms part of the relationship too.

I have to admit this was a hard review to do. I wanted to give it 5 stars but the ending seemed to just be there. Masters of Restraint could have been so much better if there had been an actual story. I liked the characters and the sex scenes were amazing, but there was no building of characters. We got some information here and there of each character, but other than that there is no real tangible info. For a RH BDSM I was kind of left hanging. Please don't let this be a negative for you, if you are looking for a quick hot read, this is for you!
