Leo Kanaris ist griechischer und irischer Abstammung, er hat in Italien, Deutschland, Rumänien, der Türkei und Mexiko als Lehrer, Journalist und Animateur gearbeitet. Zurzeit lebt er Im Süden Griechenlands. „Inseltod“ ist sein erster Roman.

Bela Wohl ist Psychologin, Psychotheratpeutin und staatlich geprüfte Übersetzerin. Seit dreißig Jahren übersetzt sie zahlreiche Bücher ins Deutsche.
