I just read your book and it was very helpful. Thank you for being honest. In 2010, my department had one of our female officers shot and killed by her husband during a domestic disturbance and I was the responding officer. I have had to deal with being over come by emotion of the event and two years later I still am dealing with it. I know one day the stress and the tears will come to a stop but until it does, it is nice to read something that you feel you can relate to even though our events were different.
