John N. Thompson is the Distinguished Professor of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of California, Santa Cruz. He is the author of The Coevolutionary Process, The Geographic Mosaic of Coevolution, and Relentless Evolution, all also published by the University of Chicago Press.
