About this ebook

From bestselling romance Author Nora Ash comes this FREE steamy superhero romance featuring two primal, possessive heroes fighting over one (un)lucky human woman.

There are no such things as heroes.

I went out for coffee. I came back with a nemesis.

The city’s favorite hero, Lightning, saved me from getting gunned down, and I thought my luck was finally changing. Not only was I not dead; I also managed to snag an exclusive interview with the masked supe.

Only, instead of job stability and internet fame, I earned the attention of every dangerous criminal in the city.

The only thing that’ll save my life now is allowing Lightning to claim me as his pet. To offer my body in the hopes that he’ll protect me.

But the city has it wrong. He’s not one of the good guys. And submitting to his claim will bring another darkness from the shadows. A darkness whose only goal is to take anything his archenemy possesses.

Including me.

Into the Darkness is the FREE first installment in the spicy ménage serial Darkness.

For fans of Victoria Danann, I. T. Lucas, or Kelly St. Clare, this is a red-hot superhero romance with some dark themes.

A darn good start to this series as it piques curiosity and leaves you excited for what comes next. It is an intriguing, dirty read full of action, passion and lust. Kathryn meets meets Lightning, one of the local superhumans (aka “supes”) during an armed robbery in a coffee shop. Lightning is the revered superhero of St. Anthony and saves everyone during the robbery. After the rescue, Kathryn’s interview with Lightning leads her into writing an article in a bid to prove herself as a serious reporter/blogger. In the article, she questions Mayor Wilkins relationship with the superheroes and insinuates that there is corruption present. As curiosity gets the better of her, Kathryn decides to investigate further which leads her deeper into danger. Enter The Shade, where Lightning is the local hero, The Shade is the epitome of villain. The one is revered and the other feared. The only similarities being their glowing blue eyes denoting them as superhuman and that Kathryn becomes both their focal point. This book is well written and although edges towards being on the darker side, there is a hint of humour (very slight) which does lighten up things a bit. It is a short, fast, erotic read which is focussed around Kathryn. The final chapter is from The Shade’s POV which gives us a small glimpse that all is not as it seems. It ends in a cliff-hanger and I can’t wait to read what comes next. Thank goodness all the books in this series have now being released. I received an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

Hard Hot and Sizzling 4.5 stars. I was given the box set, Darkness, by Nora Ash, for an honest review. For those familiar with Nora Ash’s work, will know her genre is the coming together of human and the other worldly beings, like Demons. I became a fan of Noras work when I first read Branded. Darkness runs along a somewhat similar vain, but here we have another type of other worldly being, who long ago lost the ability to morph into their true self, and are forever trapped in their human form. The protagonist is a chubby little blonde wanna be reporter blogger, Kathryn. This is one of the reasons I love Nora’s work, her heroines arn’t perfect runway models, there every day women. Kathryn places herself in a vulnerable position, trying to find the evidence to fit her theory; Who is behind the city’s crime rise?. She comes in contact with the city’s beloved hero, Lighting, and the anti hero with the shady reputation, The Shade. They are known as Sups, short for super human. It doesn’t help that these two are mortal enemies, and have been for decades. All three lives become entangled. But for good or bad? Nothing is as it seems, and people are not as they portray. Kathryns blog hinting at a criminal relationship between two prominent city figures brought her unwanted attention, her snooping made her a target. Who can she trust? Who can she turn to? Would anyone save her? This was a fun read, intriguing in its own way, laced with mind blowing hot sex scenes. A great mind escape during social isolation. 4.5 stars.

I voluntarily received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. loved this introduction to hot “supes” and the blogger who gets herself into trouble between them. I have to admit that I wasn’t sure how to navigate the story where the heroine Kathryn gets confronted by not 1 but two supes who are REALLY into her lol. Granted (minor spoiler ahead), she was kind of forced into submitting to one of the supes due to putting herself in a bad situation, but still, the amount with which she enjoyed it… Well I’m not going to be a hypocrite - I wouldn’t have turned him down either. I guess I have a thing for bad boys lol! I couldn’t wait for Book 2 because I could not put this one down.
