À propos de cet e-book

The thrilling conclusion to the series that’s “every bit as good as Jeff Edwards, Tom Clancy, or Dale Brown; fans of those authors will gobble this up” (Military Writers Society of America).

The war is in its third year. No help is coming. America is no more.

Brad Stone could not escape the image of his first wife’s mangled body in the opening days of the invasion. Now he cannot escape the image of seeing her alive two years later, and in the company of General Zhang. Youngmi has physically recovered from the attempt on her and General Zhang’s lives, but her heart is another matter as the war pushes her further from her husband, closer to her lover, and deeper into the abyss. The scouts of Troop 104 are half their one-time strength, and once again homeless. Now they are moving north, in search of the man they’d heard of: the Ice Hammer.

Brad’s older son has grown into a capable leader; his younger son, a bloodthirsty monster. The family is being pushed ever nearer to being reunited while Brad and the Chiknik Rangers plan their most ambitious mission to date, throwing their full strength against General Zhang’s forces before they get too close to the thousands of refugees under his protection, in this daring conclusion to Ice Hammer.

À propos de l'auteur

Basil does not just write stories, he has lived a lot of what they contain. The backdrop for his writing started with his birth in rural Alaska. He spent his school years among the only slightly less rural, yet somehow slower moving, cornfields of Ohio, where he wished to be anywhere else, as long as it was exciting. He has lived in Fairbanks, Palmer, and Anchorage, Alaska, Camp Pendleton and San Diego, California. Washington DC, Baltimore, MD, and Baltimore, Ohio. He tried a career in the Marines, but injuries sent him home way too early. After that he waited tables, managed a family diner, worked at the NSA, owned a computer shop, was a carpenter, farmer, intelligence operative, actor, lumberjack, voice actor, EMT, network admin, help desk supervisor, Boy Scout leader, IT trainer, radio talk host, youth minister, and a sergeant in the Alaska Defense Force Coastal Scouts.

Until a ski injury in 2008 he was an avid weight lifter and could bench press over 420 lbs. Now he’s limited to a brisk walk each afternoon, hefting his laptop to his lap whilst sitting in his comfy chair, and curling a pint or three of stout each night.

He lives in Anchorage, Alaska with his wife and sons, and Heimdall the Norse Dog.
