This is a thrilling start to the new series by master storyteller Irene Hannon! The characters are relatable and dynamic. The plot is realistic and fast-paced and the culprit is cleverly hidden. There are plenty of twists and surprises that kept me guessing, even though I consistently guessed incorrectly. I really enjoyed reading about the procedures of investigating fires and how the mystery of possible arsons are unraveled. All opinions expressed are my own.

Oh my! This book had me on the edge of my seat! There’s something quite menacingly frightening about fires and this new series takes that fear and amps it up ten fold.
