This bulletin is one of a series intended to report the results of surveys of mineral resources in the Tennessee Valley region so as to determine: the nature and extent of mineral resources suitable for development through the use of low cost electricity as power and heat for chemical and other industrial uses; the nature and extent of such minerals which can be economically transported by water; and those having critical or strategic importance for military purposes.
