3.5 stars, 3 steamy kisses pregnancy issues, childhood crush, reverse age gap, small-town vibes, brothers ex-gf, ex-bf younger brother, miscommunication, flashbacks, angst I thought this was going to be a 4 star read for me from the start but unfortunately, I just couldn't get over the flashbacks in time and the miscommunication between the main characters. I did enjoy the reality of the hero's profession and the honesty in pregnancy struggles.

Holy wow. I think I loved this pair about as much as they drove me batty. It was easy to see how much Ian adored his Sunny, but it hurt my heart to watch her view him as only a friend. And when they were finally able to cross that divide, and my gooey marshmallow heart was happy for them falling in love, I wanted to bang their heads together over all the things they should have said earlier but didn’t.
