4.5 stars. I just want to say this, Sage has more courage and strength than she knows, I wanted to hug her and shake her at times, I am so glad that she had Knox and he was able to get her to start re-evaluating how she thought of herself. What she went through as a child had shaped her and I just loved that Knox had been part of that journey, it added to their relationship. I really liked them together and believed that they would find a way to make things work. I could see both their points of view with regards to her brother and I hope there be some closure there soon and that the next book will answers some questions I have as I know there is still more to come from Sage's sister. I enjoyed the mix of danger, suspense, family, friends, experiences, connections, romance and love. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Eep, I've been dying to read this book as I love this series and author, and it did not disappoint. From cover to cover you'll be transfixed, trying to make sense of what's going on, and be prepared for still having questions past the final page. It was very cleverly and thoughtfully done. The heroine will be an inspiration to many. I could say so much more on this book but need answers so am diving into Savage Beauty instead. That in itself should speak volumes.

A fabulous read: This was a wonderful romantic suspense that kept my attention throughout. I thought the suspense was well done and the fast paced action was balanced well with quieter, personal times. I really liked both Sage and Knox and became invested in their journey. Whilst this was an Arrow Security novel, the author did a good job of providing sufficient backstory and details so that this could be read as a standalone. I can't wait to see what comes next!
