Rahil Showkat is a young writer and artist, born and raised in Anantnag district of Kashmir. Since his childhood "pen and paper" has been a great friend of him. At the beginning, he used to write quotes but now he aspires to give the world a literature that could inspire his readers, provide them beneficial knowledge and also entertain them too. He is fervent and enthusiastic towards writing and aspires for a literature that everyone could relate to, wholly through plain linguistic means. As he believes that everyone should be able to read and feel related to his works. Not only in "English", but he has also wrote a number of couplets, poems, prose, and short stories in "Urdu", wherein he uses "Tabish" as his kenning. He is 16 year old and studies in class 11th. While he did his pre-matric schooling from "Eternal Public School", that has played a great role for him to get his first ever book published on something religious. Rahil believes that "pen and voice" are the only weapons that can influence the thoughts of the people, and that they should be raised in such a way, that everyone would feel assured with the message conveyed by them.
