About the author

Andrew Baltzegar is an up-and-coming writer and author of mystery and general fiction. Born and raised in the Carolinas, his work often comprises a Southern perspective and setting. Andrew studied at the College of Charleston and NC State University, where he obtained is doctorate in Zoology in 2013. The novel Itapi, a mystery/thriller unfolding in the jungles of the Amazon, is his first published work. Andrew is also the author of numerous short stories, including A Drive Down 95, A Boxer's Praise, and the Lights of Parker's Ferry.
