Jürgen H. Schmidt lebte sieben Jahre im peruanischen Amazonastiefland, wo er als Lehrer an einer Bibelschule einheimische Prediger ausbildete. Seit 2009 ist er als theologischer Mitarbeiter des Timotheus-Dienst e.V. tätig.
