A heart pounding 2nd installment. Like I said in my review for book 1, I will only read cliffhanger books by a few favorite authors; JJ Knight (AKA Deanna Roy) is one of them. Reckless Attraction Vol. 2 picks up with the first one left off with Chloe running away from Hudson. The story is told in first-person POV with chapters alternating between Chloe and Hudson. The sexy time between Hudson and Chloe finally happens after he takes her to a unique 1920-30's venue. If this place really exists it would be so cool to visit there but it would be a bit pricey for my pocketbook. Still, this is a romance and fantasy is allowed so I thinks it's cool the JJ Knight put a place like this in her book. You really need to read book 1 before you read this one and this one ends on another cliffhanger but we won't have long to find out what happens as the final book will be out in early August. Reckless Attraction Vol. 2 is a solid 4.5 stars for me. This book cannot be read as a standalone! Vol. 2 picks up right where the cliffhanger of Vol. 1 left off. The cliffhanger in Vol.1 was killer but it doesn't come close to the ending of Vol.2!! I'm anxiously awaiting Vol.3 so I can see how Chloe and Hudson are going to overcome being on opposite sides of their fight: him a MMA fighter, her a professional protester trying to get fights shut down. They may be enemies on the surface but fate isn't letting them get away that easy. I'm counting down the days to the conclusion!! *This is my voluntary review of an advanced reader copy*

Second in this new series. This story went as expected and there is a huge cliffhanger at the end, now have to wait for the next installment. There are some lovely places here and then drops into the same drama as the first book. Anticipating the next. I suggest you read the first book before starting this one
