Early Life and Education
Joydev Bera was born and brought up at Brindabonpur, Purba Medinupur, West Bengal to a Hindu family. His parents are Rintu Bera and Manasi Bera. He completed his Secondary examination in 2013 from Gobindachak Sri Durga High School and in 2015 the Higher Secondary examination completed from Deuribarh Kiranprava Vidyamandir. He did his Bachelor’s in Sociology from Bajkul Milani Mahavidyalaya in 2018 and got the first class degree honours. Simultaneously he earned a Diplpma degree on Applied Sociology from Srirampur College under the guidance of Sociologist Dr. Sribas Goswami. Later he admitted in Vidyasagar University to earn the Master degree on Sociology and as well as admitted other two university to earn Post Graduate Diploma In N.G.O. Management (A.U) and M.S.W(NSOU).
Career and Achievements
He started his career as a home tutor. Basically he is a student of Sociology. He loves to write articles on Sociology. And he wrote many articles on Sociology and Literature in the form of poem, essay, short story and various form which has published in India and as well as in Bangladesh. He has written a Test Papers of H.S(WBHA) and a Fundamental book on Sociology and UCHHA MADHYAMIK SAMAJTATTAER SAFOLLYO for Higher Secondary Students besides these books he wrote another book for children named ‘SISHUDER SAMAJTATTO”. “SAMAJTATTIKDER ITIBRITTO”, “KOBITAR VELA”, “JAGORON” AND “KOBITAI MARXBAAD” are the famous creation of his. And his two story ‘PIRIOD’ and ‘SAPNO PURAN’ are selected for cinema.
He got some honour for writing such articles i.e. Duiratna Samman, Kalporatna Samman, Saratchandra Chattopadhyay Samman, Kobiratna Samman, Mukur Saradia Samman2019, Mukur Lakhoni Samman2020, Mukur Sahittyo Sonkolpo Samman etc.
