About this ebook

Jack Leonard's father, Billy, is an alcoholic. Billy isn't a bad guy. Friends would say he's the life of the party; his family might refer to him as harmless. After all, he isn't a mean drunk ... he's a happy drunk.

Of course, these things tend to run in the family and Jack is following in the old man's footsteps.

Then Jack meets a girl and things change. Years go by and life is nearly perfect ... until tragedy strikes, testing the very fabric of the Leonard family.

Texas Jack is a poignant story about family and the good and bad in people.

A fantastic story about a family in South Texas dealing with the effects of alcoholism.

About the author

J.B. grew up along the muddy brown beaches of the Texas coast.

He was a mediocre surfer and skater, Atari 2600 owner, and firmly believes that 80s music is the best.

J.B. likes to travel, snap pictures, design covers, and scribble down words when he's not hanging out with his family and their two dogs: a sly but intelligent Westie named Lulu; and, a pure-of-heart, loyal, yet incredibly unintelligent Cockapoo that goes by Bear.
