About the author
J.C. Gemmell was born in Falkirk, Scotland, and received his
B.A. in Computer Studies and a Master’s Degree in Applied
Science from the University of Portsmouth. Before becoming
an independent author of future fiction, he worked as
an engineer for several multinational organisations. He lives
with his partner and two cats on the south coast of England.
