About this ebook

Falling for a guy you love to hate has never been so fun in this "laugh-out-loud funny and crazy sexy" beach read (Meghan March, New York Times bestselling author).

Tori Rivera thinks Jamie McCade is rude, arrogant, and worst of all . . . the sexiest man she's ever laid eyes on. His reputation as a player is almost as legendary as his surfing skills. No matter how her body heats up when he's around, she's determined not to be another meaningless hookup.

Jamie McCade always gets what he wants. The sickest wave. The hottest women. And Tori, with her long legs and smart mouth, is definitely the hottest one. He knows Tori wants him-hell, most women do-but she won't admit it. After months of chasing and one unforgettable kiss, it's time for Jamie to raise the stakes.

Jamie promises that soon Tori won't just want him in her bed, she'll be begging for it-and he might be right. Somehow he's found the spot in her heart that makes her open up like never before. But with all she knows about his past, can she really trust what's happening between them? Is Jamie playing for keeps or just playing to win?

Jamie McCade is a stubborn rascal with a filthy mouth, and he's pretty much amazing. And Tori's having the WORST time convincing herself she's not into him. I loved their back and forth argue-flirting, and enjoyed that fact that he was so into her that he waited so long for her to realize it too. Enemies-to-lovers is such a fun trope! J. Daniels is a pro at fun, sexy reads and Hit the Spot did not disappoint. The narration by Sebastian York and Kate Russell was fantastic!

***4.5 ‘This Feels Like Forever’ ‘Stars*** After finishing Four Letter Word I knew that I'd be picking up the next book in the series just to see what kind of crazy Jamie and Tori put each other through. Never mind that the crazy they are putting each other through tends to drive me batsh$t crazy, I simply NEEDED to know if they end up killing each other or not (they didn’t but…) and I wasn't disappointed! Yes, they drove me batsh%t crazy throughout the entire book but I also found myself enjoying their unending battle of wills and having a difficult time putting the book down. Jamie and Tori. There were moments where I wanted to smack some sense into both of them, but they grew on me and in the end I ended up adoring both of them. Jamie is the total sexy, confident alpha male package. He really is. There were times when his confidence step a bit too far into arrogance for me, but that was tempered with how observant he was and a well hidden sweet side that not many got to experience. He’s a man of his word and when he is wrong, he admits it when it finally hits him that he may not have either read or handled the situation as well as he thought. Tori is full of moxie. Sweet, sassy, snarky and able to hold her own in most situations. But she’s also been blindsided by the guy that she thought she was in love with. That situation has left her with wounds that haven’t healed, even though she tries her damnedest not to let them show. I loved Tori’s outlook on life, the girl just wants to be happy and has found at least a bit of what she deems heaven. Her stubborn determination is admirable and when she lets someone into her heart, or “soft”, she’ll do anything for that person. Honestly, where does one start with Jamie and Tori’s relationship? From their very first meeting they were at each other’s throats and yet that elusive connection flared bright between them, but one had to wonder if one of them would end up dead before they finally hooked up. Obviously neither died. But their battle of wills ranged from hilarious to downright ridiculous and yet with battle they got deeper under each other’s skins until there was no denying the truth of what was between them. I can’t deny that their...interactions weren’t enjoyable, nor that I waffled constantly between being #TeamLoser or #TeamLegs because I got where both of them were coming from. They were both putting it all out there, but missing those key details to make the other truly get it. In the end though, I loved where they ended up. They fit each other perfectly and please note that you will be needing your B.O.B. powered up and/or an Arctic bath ready to jump in because they are nuclear together. This one had me all over the place while reading it. I waffled between being #TeamLoser or #TeamLegs (In the end it was both) and trying to pull a Jedi mind trick to get them do what I wanted, which they rarely did, but in the end I love the route that Ms. Daniels took for Jamie and Tori’s story, especially with Tori’s ex-a$$hat of a boyfriend. I thought he was handled perfectly. I loved hanging out with Wild and Trouble and Tori and Jamie’s family, I am hoping that a certain Doctor may be up for a book one day *BSEG* But for now I’m gonna cross my toes for a Shay and Stitch to be the next ones up, because dear lord do I love a tall, dark and broody man who can cook! ~ Copy provided by the publisher via NetGalley & voluntarily reviewed ~

These two were a lot of sexy fun wrapped in insecurities (her) and hidden deep awareness (him). Of course, it takes us through the book to find this all out. The path that takes us there is littered with stops and starts, and a tonne of denials, but that is their thing. I completely enjoyed the ride these two took me on!
