J.K. Rowling est l’auteur de la série Harry Potter (plus de 450 millions d’exemplaires vendus dans le monde et des traductions dans 79 langues). Son premier roman pour adultes, Une place à prendre, a été publié en 2012 et a fait l’objet d’une adaptation par la BBC en 2015. Ses enquêtes de Cormoran Strike, publiées sous le pseudonyme de Robert Galbraith, ont paru en 2013 (L’appel du coucou), 2014 (Le ver à soie) et 2015 (La carrière du mal) et sont en cours d’adaptation par la BBC. En 2016 ont paru son script théâtral, Harry Potter et l’enfant maudit et le scénario de son premier film, Les animaux fantastiques.
