About the author
J.L. Buckley knew she wanted to be a writer by the time she was twelve years old. Storytelling is in her bones, and telling intense, epic love stories with action, suspense, and comedy is her passion. Her debut novel, Hybrid: Irinsband Part I was a story that began with a character idea when she was still in her formative teenage years. Twenty-three years and four attempts to write it later, she completed the manuscript in 2023 and published it in May of 2024. Hybrid is the first in a trilogy that follows the badass female protagonist, Rowen and her fated mate, Gabriel—a badass in his own right—across a massive in-depth fantasy landscape. This is what she loves and she wants to share Rowen and her story with the world.
