Thank you for taking us all on this wonderful journey. I loved the characters and the love expressed by each one...I miss that these days, though I live alone at age 70 and take care of myself, I grew up in a small town called Camden, S.C. and lived among people that you talk about in Sweetwater .Alabama. My neighbors are from Alabama and are the salt of the earth, always taking care of family, animals and land and yes...even me at times I thank God for the gift of these wonderful people who work honestly and diligent to serve God and realize they are caretakers for the land and people who live around them and they have always done so as they had great, respectful and happy parents and siblings...Jeff and Donna Smith are the people you describe in your book and carry on true Christian love and life every day and I am so appreciative of them and the love they have for our nation. May God continue to bless you and our nation with these wonderful blessings of good people!

Absolutely loved the characters in this book. You know it's a good book when you find yourself sad to say goodbye at the end of the book. A big thank you to the author, I will def be reading more of your stories 😊

What an awesome book this is ?! Truly unputdownable without a doubt - at times so harrowing l wasn't sure l could finish , at times so fresh & full of love , l was very touched in my heart . The details & huge outpourings of the full range of human emotions , this author has obviously not spared his research . I know l will read more of his work but not right away - l need time to process it all . Truly captivating

About the author

I’m a Liverpool born writer, with a story to tell, I started writing when I was very young, I used a school rough book and made stories up, penning them down and as I got older I decided to actually take it serious. I’ve a good friend who motivates me and tells me where I’m going right or wrong, a hobby I’ve had is now a physical thing.
