Melinda Richards LaRose is a freelance children's media writer. On the television side Melinda has written for the Emmy Award-winning series, The Wonder Pets! on Nick Jr., 3rd & Bird on Disney Junior, Dino Dan, Oobi! and Piper O'Possum, among others. For seven years Melinda served as an in-house writer and story editor a tLittle Airplane Productions and has worked on developing preschool series with Brazil's TV PinGuim and Moonscoop's AvaRiko Teo. Melinda has also written a number of children's books including manuscripts for Disney Publishing based on the hit series Jake and the Never Land Pirates and Jungle Junction and WonderPets books for Simon & Schuster's Ready-to-Read series.
