This book does a superb job of presenting the methods of "old time" sign-making. It even presents the method of embossing glass AND how to add real gold leaf to lettering on glass. Even if you do not intend on making signs, this book offers delightful reading as it reveals the magnitude of skill that is required in an art that is often taken for granted. What an appreciation we should have for the craftsmen who operated in the age before computers and automation!
