I love JP. I have everything he has ever written. And I LOVE Alex Cross. But, I did not love this book. Waaayyyy too predictable and easy to follow. And more importantly, the title was misleading. At no point was Cross the actual target like he has been in the past. JP has a lot of series out for adults and teens, as well as partnered novels. Personally, I believe he should slow down and stop rushing these books to print. I am awaiting the next novel, PATIENTLY! Take your time JP!

I love the over 20 year journey with Alex Cross. Back in the early years of Alex Cross, I've lead others to read books written by James Patterson. I've read 60+ James Patterson's books; including co-author books. I don't wanna give spoilers but as with all Alex Cross series, good & fast paced. Merry Christmas Alex Cross mixes very well with this book. I'm still in awe after reading Cross Fire. Over 20yrs w/nemesis Kyle Craig & "poof he's dead, just like that?" I'll be scratching my head over that one for a bit, BUT if you wanna quick pace, easy read that grabs your attention instantly, I recommend this series over any other. Start with book #1: Along Came The Spider. [MUCH MUCH BETTER THAN THE MOVIE] I love Morgan Friedman & Ashley Judd. But even book #2: Kiss The Girls, is also MUCH better than movie. Tyler Perry did a good job when he played Alex Cross in his movie. The movies are great but seriously, get started on the books! DELMARVA PENINSULA residents will appreciate settings

I have always been a fan of james patterson, but this book was an absolute failure! The idea was a good one, but it was soo boring and not intense at all!
