About this ebook

Bad boy quarterback Tyler Harris plays ball for a living and breaks hearts for a hobby.

With two championships in as many years, Tyler is the best quarterback in the league. Gorgeous and rich, he's at the top of his game. Women love him. Men want to be him. Only Tyler's not feeling the love. In fact, he's not feeling anything at all. Licking his wounds after a scandal and a breakup with his longtime girlfriend, he retreats to a run-down mansion on a remote island in the Pacific Northwest. Once there, Tyler is blindsided by the sassy redhead next door. He knows that he's met his match and possibly his soul mate. There's one problem. She doesn’t feel the same way.

Lavender Mead has a good reason to dislike jocks, namely an absentee father who deserted the family to coach college football. By all accounts, her new neighbor is everything she deplores in a man. But Tyler's not the shallow superstar she expected, and she's reluctantly drawn to football’s unabashed bad boy. Once she gives in to his considerable charms, the two are so hot together, they're combustible.

As the clock ticks down, can they commit to each other forever? Or will they both fall short of the goal at the last minute?

The writing it self is great. The author knows how to bring out the readers emotions and really feel what's going on. The actual plot of this book makes 0 sense and constantly contradicts it self. The plot outside the romance is Lavender was "abandoned" by her father when she was 15. Like what time period does this book take place, couldn't her dad just have reached out on Facebook or email and tried to get in contact with her. Also she was 15 not 8 when they got divorced, her dad knew her entire schedule, yet never showed up at her school or games to get in contact with her?! It's not like he had a restraining order, it just doesn't make sense. And then the whole Tyler's dad bandoning his family even tho he loved his brother and dad makes no sense. Like why did that happen?? Then in the end we never even find out what Lavender ends up doing, I assume she will take over the B&B operations when its built. And don't get me started on Tyler, his entire personality is all over the place!

I couldn't wait to read this book about Tyler. What a dissapointment. Lavender was the most immature leading character I've ever seen. Too many sex scenes that went on and on for pages.
