The Cowboy’s Prize is book 1 in the Sweethearts of the Rodeo series by Jamie K. Schmidt and a nice start to this series. 4.5 stars LeAnn Keller aka Killer is determined to be the first WPRCA woman to win the buckle for bull riding but she needs more training, so her sister hires Dylan Porter, bull rider and trainer. What nobody knows is they had a one nite stand the prior season. What happens next is secrets, tragedy, over protective family, age gap romance, steamy and more…

A very good and spicy hot story with lots of tension and kissing, head butting and snuggles. All along the hope is for the cowboy and the female bull rider to find a way. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The Cowboy's Prize by Jamie K. Schmidt. A great story for the first book in the Sweethearts of the Rodeo series. I enjoyed the character development, storyline and the setting. Looking forward to more in this series and more by the author.
