Fast, fun read. This book has humor, mystery and emotion. I always laugh when I read about the adventures of Fortune, Ida Belle and Gertie and this one is no exception. Fortune is growing as a person and realizing that she has been hiding from her own issues and problems. I was glad the truth about her was revealed to Carter and I understand what he must be feeling; however, it still made me sad. I just wish the books were longer.

Wow! I haven't laughed, cried or enjoyed your fortune,gertie, idabelle series or mudbug series more than any other series in a while. Jana you have a knack for the thrill, mystery story telling. Can't wait to read next book. Keep them coming.

Light on romance, heavy on laughs the whole Miss Fortune services is great. You can read each book separately. I've preferred to read them in the order written.
