The final book in the trilogy takes on a mans point of view. Being raised and groomed from infantry to become a duke john is a no nonsense kind of man. He has high expectations for himself and is suspicious of everyone around him, even his family. He is plagued with questions from his childhood before his mother returned and doesn't believe he can love anyone. Being the new head of the family I terms of power has society that also sets high expectations as well. The duke is forced to learn about the skeletons in his family's closet and decide to bring them to light or keep them trapped down. But at what cost? Meeting a young woman who brings light to his world but she is do far beneath his rank that their love is impossible. What should happen to her?

Very good read, but some words are badly place in some lines But it's easy to figure out what words are to be used when reading.
