Trouble is brewing in the small town of Silver Moon Falls.
Resident witch, Maddie Goodcharm, is accused of hexing the townsfolk. So not true! Maddie loves her town and its people, well, most of them anyway. When one of the townsfolk dies in suspicious circumstances, Maddie becomes the main suspect in a murder investigation.
But that isn’t her only problem. During a practice session in the woods, she accidentally casts a spell on a hiker. Jason’s not in a good place, literally, and Maddie has to come up with a reversal spell ASAP. Which she can’t do if she’s in prison. The only way out of her dilemma is to catch the real murderer.
Now Maddie is on the trail of a killer and magic may be the only thing that will save her.
Janni Nell is the author of fun paranormal mysteries. Before she became a writer, she worked as a personal assistant, receptionist and sales clerk. Now she is happy to spend every day creating stories. When she isn’t writing, you can find her at dance class, Pilates or walking the dog. She is hard at work on her next book.
But this time Mom needs my special skills. She believes my stepfather is possessed. I admit he's not his usual dapper, charming self, but sleepwalking doesn't sound that weird. Until the sleepwalking spreads through the family and cousin Donna walks right out of her apartment window to her death. Then my sister goes missing and I have to find her and solve the mystery before Lily and her unborn child are harmed.
Normally I would have assistance, but my right hand, a hunky angel I've nicknamed Casper, has business of his own to take care of—business that might take him out of my life forever. The stakes are too high for me to lose, but I'm not sure I can do it alone...
Sassy is determined her best friend’s wedding will be perfect. That’s a maid of honor’s job, right? When the heirloom, one-of-a-kind wedding ring is stolen, Sassy is frantic to get it back before the big day. She enlists the help of hot, dark and mysterious P.I. Devlin Fox—the man you go to when regular P.I.s give up. Together they follow the trail of the ring from street kids to pawn shops to eccentric antique collectors. With only days until the wedding, can they find the ring and make the wedding day perfect? More importantly, will Devlin turn out to be the perfect wedding date?
The last thing she did was call for my help. Since I don’t know much about the spirit world I called Joe Nettleford, who moonlights as a ghost hunter. He’s good as what he does, but it’s kind of awkward since I refused to date him. So now I’m not sure what’s going to be more difficult: working with Joe or untangling the secrets of Wildfinch Hall and its ghosts. Still I’d better find a way to succeed at both. If I don’t, I’ll never see Clover again.
It all started with the weird shadow that’s been following her around town. Ellie is used to strange things happening since she does belong to a family of witches. But now her aunt’s having premonitions of danger, and the shadow is starting to look more like an actual person, and Ellie’s non-witch boyfriend is seriously freaking out.
To make matters worse a hot new guy has moved into the old Darkwood Lodge. Saxon claims to be an accountant, but he seems to know an awful lot about magic. Ellie’s every instinct is telling her to keep away, but fate—or perhaps magic—keeps throwing them together. Soon she’s wondering how much Saxon knows about the shadow that’s been following her. Is Saxon really a mild-mannered accountant or someone much more dangerous?
Ellie is determined to discover the truth and not even the darkest magic will stop her.
