About the author

Dr. Renner is an international speaker, author, lecturer. educator and consultant for governments and social entrepreneurship. She is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis at East Tenseness State University.She is the founder of Jazzy Creative Designs a unique, innovative, creative, affordable Afro-western designer line of products and accessories. and lead consultant and founder of Cross Cultural Leadership Network a global leadership consultancy services, training, coaching and mentoring.A native of Sierra Leone, she practiced law as an attorney specializing in comparative international law and general legal practice. She currently teaches Law, Policy Analysis, Leadership Studies, Small Group Leadership, the Administration of Higher Education and Ethics for Educational Leaders. Her legal background, education and experiences affords her the opportunity to consult and advise on leadership issues with particular emphasis on cross-cultural leadership, study abroad programs, legal aspects of copyright in higher education and legal issues of social media in higher education.She obtained her first law degree and Bar Final certification from the Council of Legal Education/ Sierra Leone Law School in Freetown, Sierra Leone. She subsequently pursued further graduate legal studies and received her Masters of International Law and Comparative Studies from the University of Georgia (Athens, Georgia, USA). She earned her doctoral degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Bowling Green State University (Bowling Green, Ohio, USA ). She is a two-term recipient of the PEO International Peace Scholarship award and a recipient of the "Shanklin Excellency Outstanding International Scholar Award." She has published a book, several book chapters and several refereed journal articles on leadership and cross cultural leadership. She is married to Sylvester Renner and has a son, Daniel Denzel Renner. They currently reside in Johsnon City, TN.
