About the author

Born in Texas in 1971, Jason Henderson is an American writer of games, novels, and comic books. He graduated from the University of Dallas with a BA in History and his first book was published when he was a 22-year-old law student. He wrote the young adult novel series Alex Van Helsing and the bestselling The Element of Fire, the first novel in the Highlander franchise, in addition to co-writing the comic Clockwerx for Humanoids.

In addition to being a video game artist and designer, Tony Salvaggio is an internationally published author as well as a former columnist for Comicbookresources.com. Steampunk adventure Clockwerx was originally adapted from a screenplay co-written by Salvaggio and Jason Henderson, with the comic first published in English in 2013. He has also made appearances speaking about writing and graphic novels at a variety of conventions.

Born in 1981 in Rouen, Jean-Baptiste Hostache is a Paris-based comic artist, animator, and freelance visual developer. After working for animation studios, his first comic was the cyberpunk series 'Clockwerx', which he collaborated on with writers Jason Henderson and Tony Salvaggio. He also worked with Guillaume Dorison on The Lords of War, published by Glénat since 2012.

After several years spent working in video games and Japanese animation, Guillaume Dorison, aka Izu, became literary editor of the French branch of Humanoids in 2006 when he launched the Shogun collection dedicated the original manga creations, with the aim of reinventing the Shonen genre. Under the pen name Izu, he has written over 20 comics and manga, including the sci-fi series Omega Complex, which was given the Animeland Award for Best French manga in 2010.
