While a cool sounding story, I figured I'd read a sample of the final book so I can see where he's come in his writing style since he started. Unfortunately... I wasn't thrilled. The forced metaphors and "clever" comparisons.... They just felt contrived and amateur. Still sounds cool, but I couldn't get past the fanfic vibe.

Unexpected twists and turns. Charactrrs that are interesting and well developed. A nice conclusion to the series but to continue the story in more books would be excellent.

Hope there's a book from the future humans' perspectives, too, that'd be fun.
