I totally enjoyed Natalie and Garrett’s fake relationship story in Temporary Wife Temptation, book 1 in the Heirs of Hansol series by debut author Jayci Lee. Garrett Song is steps away from becoming the CEO of his family’s fashion empire. Then he finds out he needs a fiancée, like yesterday, in order to avoid the arranged marriage his grandmother made. Enter Natalie Sobol who needs a fake spouse just as badly. The major problem was the sizzling chemistry that erupts when they are near one another making them forget all about their hands-off agreement. With these fires burning brightly, one of them is sure to get burned. Ms. Lee wrote a wonderful, emotional and sexy story that should not be missed. She provided a tale rich with sexual chemistry, family devotion, and endearing characters giving Natalie and Garrett a chance at forever love. I highly recommend Temporary Wife Temptation to other readers. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

He had family obligations to be the heir appoint and lead the family business. That was what he had been raised and groomed for and he was good at it. Now his grandmother's demands force him into action. She had found herself fighting for her niece after a tragic accident. Now she needed to do whatever was necessary to make sure nothing and no one could take her away. The desire and the need is there but the work to get past their own issues may be more than either one is willing to do. I wasn't real sure how this was going to play out and if it was going to be a strong enough story to get past all of the platitudes. This author lets the steam levels rise as they fight to keep their hands and lips to themselves and keep their hearts protected. It's my first read by this author and I don't think it will be my last. The story kept you invested as their story progresses. Natalie does become invested first whoever I love that the author lets her stay true to her character and stay strong.

First, I have to say that Temporary Wife Temptation has an absolutely gorgeous cover. I'm not crazy about the title, although it is appropriate for the story, but that's one hard to pass up cover. The fake romance trope is a hit or miss for me, mostly boiling down to how well I like the couple. To be honest, I wasn't entirely sure about that at first. I liked Natalie well enough, but Garrett rubbed me the wrong way. I usually like the arrogant playboy who gets blindsided and swept away by the right woman, but Garrett was just a little over the top with the arrogance. So much so that I didn't like him at first. Nevertheless, he did win me over and I found myself rooting for this couple. The angst is relatively low for this type of romance, which is always a good thing in a quick read like this one. The story held my interest, and after a semi-rough start, I liked this couple together. All in all, I enjoyed the romance, and will certainly be checking out more by Jayci Lee.
