From New York Times bestselling romance author Jean Oram comes the explosive fourth book in the addictive and sweet Summer Sisters series.

One shattered war hero. One hippie. Two very unlikely sweethearts.

Evander de la Fosse believes he's only good for one thing: stopping bullets meant for others. But as war-torn hero Evander shadows single mother Daphne Summer he finds himself wishing for the one thing war took from him—a life worth living. Daphne, with her bright and upbeat disposition, possesses a pull on him he can't deny.

A believer in the power of love and destiny, Daphne figures fate must have a major wicked streak for sending her polar opposite—Evander, a well-armed bodyguard—into her life. She doesn't need him, nor does she want him or his military ways seeping into her world. She has a life to live, a daughter to raise, and a family cottage to save in less than two weeks. The last thing she needs is to get involved with another Mr. Wrong. But the steely-eyed, former military hunk refuses to leave her side, especially after a confrontation with the enemy, who has been stirred up by her sisters, ends in threats. Daphne, determined not to add fuel to the fight, tries to convince Evander to back down.

Evander knows Daphne needs him—needs him for more than just protection. Will the two find a way to see eye-to-eye as well as heart-to-heart before the enemy can take them down? Find out in the fourth Summer Sisters book!

About the author

A Note From the Author on the Setting for Love and Danger
Muskoka is a real place in Ontario, Canada, a place I visited often as a child and as an adult. It is a beautiful area of the world where movie stars and other celebrities vacation as well as people like you and myself. Yet, having spent many summers in the area, I have yet to see a single celebrity--although a man I presume to be Kurt Browning's (a famous Canadian figure skating Olympian) father did offer to help me when the outboard fritzed out on me once. Dang outboard.

Come fall in love in Muskoka!

XO,
Jean

From New York Times bestselling romance author Jean Oram comes the third book in the addictive and sweet Summer Sisters series and the quietest sister of all. But what will happen when this wallflower finds her place in the world and stirs things up for the sisters?

One developer. One lawyer. One unexpected chance at love.

Years ago, cut-throat developer Tristen Bell had everything that ever mattered to him ripped away. Now divorced and living in Muskoka, he's shunning all that reminds him of his past and the unstoppable man he used to be.

Melanie Summer thought her law degree would help her find a place in this world. But when a big city developer threatens to destroy all that she loves—including her family—she finally sees her path. The only hiccup is that the man she needs—the sexy and stubborn Tristen Bell—refuses to do anything other than give her tender, knee-weakening kisses every time he sees her.

When Tristen’s teenage daughter ends up in the ER due to the negligence of his former rival, everything changes. Tristen knows he can shut down the developer but it means resorting to his old, ruthless ways and showing sweet Melanie a side that may send her running.

With time running out to stop the developer, and their attraction for one another increasing, will Tristen and Melanie learn to love and trust one another in order to reach their happily ever after?

#1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER

In the summer of 1977, Victoria Leonard’s world changes forever when Caitlin Somers chooses her as a friend. Dazzling, reckless Caitlin welcomes Vix into the heart of her sprawling, eccentric family, opening doors to a world of unimaginable privilege, sweeping her away to vacations on Martha’s Vineyard, an enchanting place where the two friends become “summer sisters.”

Now, years later, Vix is working in New York City. Caitlin is getting married on the Vineyard. And the early magic of their long, complicated friendship has faded. But Caitlin begs Vix to come to her wedding, to be her maid of honor. And Vix knows that she will go—because she wants to understand what happened during that last shattering summer. And, after all these years, she needs to know why her best friend—her summer sister—still has the power to break her heart.
