Hard to get into the story, I almost stopped reading a bunch of times. The characters didn't communicate their feelings at all, and ignored the other person frequently. Spoiler And then after the ignoring, without any sort of conversation, or showing what kind of positive attributes they can contribute to a relationship, they propose. Marriage doesn't fix problems magically! Why would you agree to marry someone who has been a ass to you and hasn't shown any evidence they can be a respectful partner?!

Don't recommend anyone to read it. The male lead is a A class jerk. God! Why would a female author insult her fellow gender by creating this monster and make it seems like it's okay is beyond me.

Maybe more of a 3.5 rating. I thought this story had so much potential. And the beginning 90% was great, as was the romance. However, I agree with other reviewers: The ending did feel rushed and I concluded reading with a bit of disappointment. I felt that there should have been scenes showing Brice's newfound fatherly affection for his son; perhaps make the kid more central to his internal struggle. Additionally, I thought his sudden shift in attitude towards Lena wasn't believable. No growing as a person.
