About this ebook

It’s time for everyone’s favorite bad boy, Prince Alexander Stanley, to clean up his act. Given the rare opportunity to lead a new royal program that aids veterans and their families, Xander can’t afford to be making scandalous headlines anymore. He has only two months until the program launches. No more overindulging. And definitely no more women.

Then halfway into it, his good behavior streak is threatened by a devil in a fuchsia dress.

Everly Wilson has kept a secret for years. She was the mastermind behind the celebrity dirt website Royals Gone Wild, which exposed some of her home country of Valeria’s juiciest secrets. But once she was out of school, she left the website and her past behind, moved to New York, and became a serious writer.

A seriously broke writer. If she doesn’t find a fresh story to earn her top dollar, she'll be out on the street, with nothing but her laptop and a stack of unpaid medical bills to keep her warm at night.

But when a friend’s wedding brings her back home, it seems like the fates have aligned to deliver her the scoop of the year. Prince Alexander is suddenly on a mission to clean up his act, avoiding the escapades he once embraced—and she’s determined to be the one to catch his inevitable screwup. So when things between them start to heat up, and Xander's walls start coming down, Everly might be the one royally in trouble this time...

Royal Trouble, the second in Jennifer Bonds Royally Engaged series was an engaging read. But honestly I didn't find it as charming or fun as the first. However, the characters were likable particularly the “spare” Prince Alexander and the romance was the perfect mix of steamy and sweet and with little drama or angst it was enjoyable to read. **I was kindly provided with an ARC via Entangled Publishing in exchange for an honest review**

Sexy and sassy, this book is a winner! Everly the illegitimate daughter of a duke, was bullied and harassed endlessly while in school. She struck back at the overly entitled royals by creating a tell all web site, Royals Gone Wild. In addition to a forum unload on the royals, she also was able to monetize it in order to pay for college and help her mother with her medical expenses. Xander is the spare heir, and, possibly, illegitimate son. He's worn his parents infidelity as though it was his own failing. However, he also took it as a license to party hard and make the tabloids frequently and in all the wrong ways. When Xander and Everly meet again as adults, neither is prepared for the upheaval their meeting will bring to their lives. Sparks fly along with chaos as they navigate their new relationship. This book made me laugh out loud at times, while also pausing at some of the poignant moments, This one has it all and is a must read for fans of the genre. Put this novel at the top of your TBR list. The author is on my must read authors' list.

Everly is in Valeria for one reason: her best friend's wedding. The illegitimate daughter of a duke, she has no desire to reconnect with a father whose only nod to her existence was to send her to a snooty private school. Nor does she want to reminisce with the former classmates who looked down on her and made her adolescence a misery. Still, she needs a job to help cover the costs of her mother's medical bills. A New York editor has said he'll give her a staff position if she can bring him a scoop on the royal family. She doesn't write gossip—not anymore. But when she runs into bad boy prince Alexander at the wedding, she holds out hope of stumbling onto a story. Xander has suffered under the scrutiny of the press all his life, his every action spun to be shone in the worst possible light. Meanwhile, women flock to him, not caring about the truth as long as there's a chance at a crown. But Everly is different. She denies him at every turn, even though they can both feel the heat between them. When they finally give in to their feelings, is it just physical? Or can they find lasting love despite the secrets hanging between them? Book 2 in the ROYALLY ENGAGED series is just as much fun as the first one. The irresistible characters in this quirky romantic comedy tugged at my heart. Everly and Xander both made mistakes as teens, but they've grown up since then. They understand each other in a way no one else can. The book drips with sexual tension and doesn't skimp on the steamy scenes. Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review.

About the author

Jennifer Bonds writes contemporary romance with sassy heroines, sexy heroes, and a whole lot of mischief. She’s a sucker for enemies-to-lovers stories, laugh out loud banter, and over the top grand gestures. Jen lives in Pennsylvania where her overactive imagination and weakness for reality TV keep life interesting. She’s lucky enough to live with her own real life hero, two adorable (and sometimes crazy) children, and one rambunctious K9.

Jen loves connecting with new people, especially other readers and writers. Visit her website www.jenniferbonds.com and sign up for her newsletter to receive exclusive content and updates on new releases. You can also find her on Facebook and Instagram @jbondswrites.
